Not so bad ice cream recipe

on Thursday, June 10, 2010

This is my peach strawberry ice cream I used the recipe from
www.myhomecooking.net I just exchanged peaches for strawberries and added a little bit of starwberries.  But I made a double batch. My machine only fits 1 1/2 qts. This recipe is 2 qts. So I mixed what I had left of the peach strawberry and the strawberry. Now that is good I really like the ice cream right out the mixer but the double batch had been in and out of the freezer for two days.  The strawberry is icy. I don't think this is supposed to be frozen. Both regular and double batch taste great out of the machine but double batch is what everybody tried. Double batch was an experiment in itself. I am going to make regular batch and mascerate the fruit. Anyway time  to make a good chocolate ice cream.

Sabor latino

These are the tacos that started my quest. These are the closest thing to baypoint I have tasted. They come from a little joint on farmington road. You get four for 5.50 they are great.

on Tuesday, April 13, 2010

This blog will be more than just tacos. This is a picture of a great bowl of caldo de pollo. I usually only get this when I go to San Luis.
